How to get the most out of your VersaSpa tan.

Before you tan:

  • Before coming in for your VersaSpa session, hop in the shower, and lather up with a lite exfoliant. Concentrate on hands, feet, knees, and elbows. Always exfoliate with a soft cotton washcloth to remove dead and dry skin by rubbing your skin gently in a circular motion.

  • Remember to shave prior to your VersaSpa tan.

  • Moisturize with a water-based lotion to hydrate the skin before tanning

  • You are NOT trying to remove all of your tan; you are trying to remove surface dead skin.

  • Do not take a hot shower or bath before using VersaSpa. Semi-warm is best. No long showers or baths either!

  • Do not use loofahs to exfoliate. Stick to soft cotton washcloths

After you tan:

  • After your VersaSpa tanning session, towel your body off to blend the tan into the skin. Rub vigorously on the hands and feet, as they tend to come out darker.

  • Five to ten minutes after using VersaSpa, rub areas such as elbows and knees with a little lotion.

  • Rub lotion around wrists and backs of hands

  • Rub lotion around ankles and tops of feet

  • Try to avoid chlorine and harsh exfoliants following your tanning session.
